Pixellect is a Tailored AI project. This policy applies to the Pixellect website, the Pixellect macOS application, and related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Interpretation and definitions
Words with an initial capital letter have the meanings below. These meanings apply whether the words are used in the singular or plural.
Account
“Account” means an account created for you to access Pixellect or parts of the Service.
Company
“Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Tailored AI LLC, the operator of Pixellect.
Cookies
“Cookies” are small files placed on your computer or other device by a website. They can store information about activity on that website and support essential or preference-related functionality.
Country
“Country” refers to Germany, where the Service is operated in part.
Device
“Device” means any device that can access the Service, including a computer, phone, or tablet.

“Service” means the Pixellect website, application, AI-assisted editing features, account features, and related services provided by Tailored AI LLC.

“Usage Data” means information collected automatically from use of the Service or its infrastructure, such as page visits, interaction events, and diagnostic information.

Collecting and using your Personal Data
Types of data collected
Personal Data
When you use the Service, we may ask you to provide information that can be used to contact or identify you. This may include:
- Email address and account details
- Information you send when contacting support
- Purchase, credit-balance, and entitlement information
- Information you voluntarily provide when using or configuring the Service
AI-assisted editing data
When you use an AI-assisted feature, Pixellect may process the prompts, images, selections, settings, and generated results needed to provide that feature. Depending on the feature, this information may be processed by a Service Provider acting on our behalf. Please do not submit information that you are not authorized to use.
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when you use the Service. It may include your device’s Internet Protocol address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, the date and time of your visit, time spent on pages, unique device identifiers, and diagnostic data. When you use the Service on a mobile device, we may also collect device type, operating system, mobile browser, and similar technical information.
Cookies
Pixellect currently uses the following Pixellect-controlled, first-party Cookies only for the browser-based billing-management flow on cloud.pixellect.app. They are not used for advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking.
pixellect_billing— an opaque browser-session token used to associate your browser with an authenticated billing-management session. It is retained for up to 10 minutes.pixellect_billing_csrf— a security token used to validate state-changing billing forms and help prevent cross-site request forgery. It is retained for up to 10 minutes.
Both Cookies use SameSite=Strict; they are marked Secure when the service is accessed over HTTPS. The pixellect_billing Cookie is also HttpOnly. These Cookies are set only when you open a billing-management session and are not needed to browse the public Website. Because they are strictly necessary for the billing functionality you request, we do not ask for consent for them.
The Cloud checkout may load third-party Paddle resources. Those resources may use their own Cookies or similar technologies under Paddle’s applicable privacy notices.
How we use your Personal Data
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service, including monitoring its usage and reliability
- To create and manage your Account
- To provide Pixellect’s AI-assisted editing features and related results
- To process purchases, credit balances, and access to paid features
- To contact you about the Service, security, support requests, and important changes
- To understand usage patterns and improve Pixellect, its features, and the user experience
- To detect, prevent, and address technical problems, fraud, abuse, or security issues
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
When we share your Personal Data
We may share your information in the following situations:
- With Service Providers. We may share information with providers that host, secure, analyze, support, process payments for, or operate parts of the Service, including AI functionality.
- For business transfers. We may share or transfer information in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, acquisition, dissolution, or similar transaction.
- With affiliates and business partners. We may share information with affiliated companies or partners when necessary to operate the Service or provide related services.

Retention of your Personal Data
The Company retains Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the Service, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal or accounting requirements. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period unless it is needed to improve security, functionality, or reliability, or we are legally required to retain it longer.

Your information may be processed at the Company’s operating offices and at locations where our Service Providers operate. This may involve transferring information to computers outside your state, province, country, or other jurisdiction where privacy laws may differ.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of Personal Data we hold about you. Where the Service provides account settings that let you manage your information, you may use those settings. You can also contact us using the details below.
We may need to retain certain information when required by law or when we have a legitimate need to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, or protect the Service.
Security of your Personal Data
The security of your Personal Data is important to us. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 13.
